ROV KIEL 6000 is equipped with 2 manipulators for sampling of rocks and organisms as well as for the handling of tools and other gear at the seafloor. A toolskid underneath the vehicle, with 2 hydraulically driven drawers, provides space for samples and additional scientific gear (further tools and equipment HERE...).

additional hydraulic connections may be used (4 proportional valves, 12 magnetic valves @ 207 bar, max 39 lpm).
