Research Program Changing Earth - Sustaining our Future

The program-oriented funding of the Helmholtz Association is based on research programmes that run over several years. Within this framework, the Federal Government and the German Länder provide the basic (institutional) funding for the centres. In the current funding phase (2021-2027), all the centres of the Helmholtz research division "Earth and Environment", including GEOMAR, jointly run the program "Changing Earth - Sustaining our Future". GEOMAR is involved in four different topics within this programme. Topic 6 is coordinated by GEOMAR.
