Doctoral researcher in PRE-COLLAPSE

Introduction

Since April 2021, I am a Doctoral Researcher in the PRE-COLLAPSE project, where I am using freely available bathymetric data from various data platforms to create shoreline-crossing DEMs of volcanic islands world-wide. The goal is to build a database of geomorphological and morphometric parameters, in order to analyse it statistically and find connections between geomorphology and instability of volcanic island flanks.

I am also active in the editorial team of the Ocean Voices Blog, a platform for young marine Researchers to voice their experiences in and their opinions about science.
