Abstract:We seek to develop an ocean modeling strategy that seamlessly connects global, regional, and local scales which is essential for advancing our understanding and management of marine environments in the Baltic Sea region. We seek opinions and collaboration among model developers, as this new ocean modeling strategy aims to support a wide range of applications, from climate change research to climate service implementation across the Eurocordex domain to coastal management and marine conservation. In this talk, I will show the first applications of MOM6 and NEMO 4.2 using AGRIF for the Baltic Sea.
