Research Interests
- Plankton physiology and ecology
- Ocean changes (ocean acidification, global warming, trace metals)
- Role of phytoplankton in carbon cycling and its response to environmental changes
- Effectiveness and ecological impacts of ocean alkalinity enhancement as a method to remove atmospheric CO₂
