H. Kadija Ege studied Media Management & Journalism at the Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven and has worked as a marketing, project and event manager both in Germany and abroad. She has also supported non-profit organizations as a photographer and in climate communication.
With her extensive experience in managing projects, she worked closely with the founder of FlexLab Studio in Halifax, a leader in MVP development. She has led major projects there, including the Women in Design initiative for Steelcase, which promotes diversity and inclusion in the design industry, as well as projects for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world.
Currently, H. Kadija Ege works as an event manager at GEOMAR Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research Kiel. She brings her expertise in the planning and implementation of events to her work and implements her commitment to environmental protection. In the Communication and Media team, she is responsible for the conception, organization, implementation and evaluation of representative and public events. In addition, she supports the planning and implementation of selected scientific and strategic events at GEOMAR.
