In the SFB-574 (volatiles and fluids in subduction zones) in subprojekt B3 as a member of the working group of Tina Treude, I conduct research on biogeochemical processes in cold-seep sediments with a focus on the anaerobic oxidation of methane.
In my PhD Thesis i develop and build a Sediment-Flow-Through-System to investigate the microbial activity by changing environmentally conditions.
