MaFNaP_2017 About MaFNaP

The MaFNaP consortium was established following the inaugural meeting of a small group of scientists in Prince Edward Island, Canada, in 2014 to initiate systematic research on marine fungi worldwide.  The first MaFNaP conference was held in 2015 in Nantes, France, hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Nantes to formalize these efforts. The 2nd International Conference of Marine Fungal Natural Products is intended to continue and intensify the scientific exchange initiated at the first MaFNaP conference and to discuss newest developments and approaches within the field.

The MaFNaP_2017 conference aims at further enhancing the awareness of marine fungi as a renewable resource for blue biotechnology, highlight trends and approaches for innovative uses of fungal resources and their chemical compounds. It will serve as an excellent environment for communications and networking between both young/established researchers and academic/industrial stakeholders.
