March 27. - 28, 2012: Black Sea gas hydrate workshop

Presentation of the general results of gas hydrate research in Germany and the results of our ongoing work on gas hydrate occurrences in the Black Sea.

The invitation only meeting serves to network the various gas hydrate research activities within the Black Sea area. We will also discuss how new joint programs on gas hydrates in the Black Sea could be initiated. These programs could address the resource potential of gas hydrates, methods for their exploitation and related environmental issues.
