Potsdam: EinheitsEXPO

Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht - Centre for Materials and Coastal Research (HZG), GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and Kiel Marine Science (KMS) at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) represent Ocean Research from Schleswig-Holstein in the annual celebration around the Day of German Unity. Due to COVID-19 this takes place as an open air expo, where all federal states can present their topics in so-called city-cubes. Schleswig-Holstein focuses on the different topics of Ocean research and presents models of research vessel SONNE or submarine JAGO as well as movies about plastic waste in the sea, climate change and other topics.

The EinheitsEXPO in Potsdam is open until October 5th.
