Research Interests
I am interested in modelling higher trophic levels (fish, macroinvertebrates and sharks) and how they interact with the environment. I use, among other tools, the multi-species model OSMOSE one-way coupled to biogeochemical models to study the Humboldt Current System and the Western Baltic Sea.

Teaching
Courses at the Humboldt-tipping Spring School 2024:
- Introduction to ocean upwelling systems, marine ecosystems, and climate change
- Ocean-biogeochemical modeling and ecological modeling
- Ecosystem modelling with OSMOSE
