Research Focus

• Seawater analysis of pollutants, in particular munitions residues and chemical explosives and warfare agents, with a focus on investigations in the Baltic and North Seas
• Use of high-resolution mass spectrometry for the detection of munitions compounds
• Optimization of sample preparation methods for trace analysis
• Statistical evaluation and analysis of hydrographic parameters (CTD)
