Our Strength: Observational and Experimental Facilities

Corresponding to a growing technological and scientific expertise at GEOMAR, a modular ocean observation system-of-systems is developed, combing a variety of instruments which can be operated in a concerted and interactive way and is open to be adapted to a wide range of scientific tasks. In addition, GEOMAR enhances its array of multi-purpose systems for manipulative experiments on multiple drivers at the community and ecosystem level that can be carried out in different oceanographic settings and climate zones.
