The department "Information Technologies" is part of the new founded "Ocean Research Technology Centre" and cares for the IT infrastructure at GEOMAR. It also provides services based on this infrastructure and incorporates network, user devices (PCs, notebooks and pads, printers and smartphones) including administration systems and mostly virtualized servers for IT and other departments.
