CACTI Workshop 2024
The goal of the Composition Air quality Climate inTeractions Initiative (CACTI) workshop in 2024 is to review the progress since the inaugural CACTI meeting in Kiel in 2023. This workshop will focus on preparing for AR7 by identifying gaps in current understanding and informing future research directions in support of AerChemMIP2, RAMIP, and other community led model projects. We are also excited to include observational talks, in particular from the recent Eastern Pacific Cloud Aerosol Precipitation Experiment (EPCAPE), and topical discussion items such as the climate response to shipping emissions changes.
The hybrid workshop will be held in-person at Scripps Institution for Oceanography, UC San Diego, USA, with an option to join online, from Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19 September 2024. The workshop will consist of a mix of presentations and discussions, which we aim to record and make available with limited access. Further details about the workshop will be announced here and via the CACTI email list in due course. We look forward to seeing you in September.

A limited number of travel grants for attending the workshop are kindly provided by CMIP. For requesting CMIP Travel Support, you need to submit your abstract for the CACTI workshop earlier until 30 June 2024 and indicate why you need financial support.
