From January 14 to January 24, 2010 scientists of the Geodynamics department under the leadership of Dr. Ingo Grevemeyer (IFM-GEOMAR) are on the way in the Alboran Sea, West Mediterranean Sea, on bord of the RV POSEIDON. The expedition is the second of the TOPO-MED project and is aimed to recover and re-deploy of 30 ocean bottom seismometers and hydrophones. These long-term observation equipments will registrate local and regional earthquake activities.
