The scientific voyage POS484 of the research vessel POSEIDON is made up of two different parts.
Its first part takes place in the Marmara Sea. Among other research equipment eight Ocean-Bottom Seismometers (OBS) has been deployed during expedition MARISITECRUISE with the French R/V POURQUOIS PAS ? in October – November 2014 in the Marmara Sea. R/V POSEIDON recovers these eight OBS. Additionally the team onboard extracts data from moored geodetic instrumentation.
