Inhalt
The objective of this module is to make students familiar with core methods and issues in development economics. This comprises measuring different dimensions of (under-) development, analyzing factors which affect development paths, and evaluating policies aimed at overcoming underdevelopment.
Considerable weight will be put on illustrating analytical results by means of empirical country experiences so as to provide a deeper understanding of different country contexts.
